Hashim Tarmahomed (b.1996, Johannesburg) is an architect, researcher and artist based in Johannesburg, South Africa. 

His work is concerned with landscapes of the othered, often located in postcolonial and postapartheid contexts. His creative process involves mapping these histories and geographies, and translating moments of intersection into meaningful spatial responses.

Hashim holds a Master of Architecture (Professional) from the University of the Witwatersrand and has practised at a number of architectural studios, including Craig McClenaghan Architecture and Wolff Architects. He has also contributed to the academy, lecturing periodically in the architecture schools at the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Cape Town.
